Holiday in Tokyo, October 2011

Hey everyone,

I know this post is a little bit late, but I was quite busy the last couple of weeks due to two major events I had to do. Nevertheless, last month I had a chance to go for a holiday in Tokyo, Japan with my dearest colleague and my sister.

We stayed at a friend's house in Yokohama. Hence, we saved quite some money on accommodation.

We travelled by train. Although it was costly, but it was convenient. We spent about RM300 for transportation including airport transfer.

This is my favourite drink in Tokyo. Found at Lawson's for only 105 yen about RM4.

Places we visited in Tokyo:

Shibuya the busy street

Harajuku

Shinjuku
Went to Nippori to buy Japanese cotton

Hard Rock Uyeno

Ameyoko Street

Akihabara

What's Tokyo without tasting their sushi

Asakusa

Ginza, the high street fashion

Of course, visiting Disneyland Tokyo is a must!

Went there from JR Maihama Station with their cute Mickey Mouse Monorail

Took Goofy's picture

Took a picture with Chipmunk

Also took a picture with Mr. Incredible

.....and Mrs. Incredible with her incredible body

Tower of Terror was the best ride in DisneySea

Me with my ShellieMay popcorn basket
On the last day, we went to the Tokyo Tower

There, we went to the Wax Museum

Took a picture with Alice in Wonderland

We found an amazing art gallery there. Look! I touched the fish.

Became a superhero

Trapped behind bars
Almost eaten by a giant

I managed to use a little bit of my Japanese there. Glad it was useful hahahaha....... Hoped that I could go to Japan again to spend another day in Disneyland Tokyo.

XOXO :p

  3. Ai San! How's life? Must have been hectic huh? What I always do is just leave everything behind and continue to be stressed once I start working, but it will definitely be all worth it....hahaha how's that sounds? Since you are your own boss, you don't have to apply for a leave like me....just do it babe!
